Poland beat the Netherlands 3-1 on Thursday to claim their semifinal spot in Apeldoorn. They won their opener 3-1 against Bulgaria.

Malwina Smarzek-Godek was Poland's top scorer in both matches in CEV Tokyo Volleyball European Qualification 2020 – 24 against Bulgaria and 25 against the Netherlands. Magdalena Stysiak (19/21) and Natalia Medrzyk (11/10) also reached double figures in both encounters.

Containing a 250 meter cycling track, an indoor athletics track and a top sport hall, combined with a large number of meeting and congress facilities and the sports café, Omnisport Apeldoorn is the largest top sport accommodation in the north-east of the Netherlands.
